On stage at Billboard Live is Tetsuya Komuro, a rare hitmaker who spearheaded Japan’s golden era of music with pioneering and boundary-pushing sounds, and who has since produced more than 20 million-seller hits as a producer.

Celebrating the 40th anniversary since debut as the leader of TM NETWORK, he has mounted a four-tour project titled TM NETWORK “FANKS intelligens Days / Day 1–40,” drawing a total of 170,000 fans across 40 performances. In addition, from June onward, the ultimate orchestra concert produced by Komuro himself, “billboard classics ELECTRO produced by Tetsuya Komuro,” is also set to take place.

Amid this, Tetsuya Komuro—who calls Billboard Live Tokyo “a place like a home or a laboratory (an experimental space)”—has suddenly scheduled a two-day, four-show engagement there. The title to come from Komuro is “TK SONG MAFIA #1–4.” Each stage is labeled #1–#4.
