KREVA, one of Japan’s top hip-hop artists, will hold a Billboard Live Tour in June this year to mark the 20th anniversary of his solo debut on the 18th. Since his debut, he has released numerous hits, and his 2006 second album Ai・Jibun Hak(u) (Love and Self-Expo) became the first hip-hop solo artist to top the weekly charts. In live performances, he has achieved many milestones, including a nationwide tour across all 47 prefectures and, as the first Asian hip-hop artist, an MTV Unplugged appearance. In recent years, his original digital album LOOP END / LOOP START, released on September 8, 2021 (Kreva Day), topped Billboard Japan Download Albums and Oricon’s weekly digital album ranking, and also held the No. 1 spot on both Oricon and Billboard Japan’s weekly rankings, drawing attention. And this memorial year, he is pursuing a wide range of activities, from music production to a collaboration with screenwriter-director Kentaro Kobayashi for a “classroom-style entertainment” piece titled KREVA CLASS - The New Rap Classroom.
