RYUSENKEI, the unit formed by Kunimondo Takiguchi and singer-songwriter Sincere (Shinshia), takes the stage. The group began activities in 2001 as a band, and has, for each album to date, invited guest vocalists to contribute to their work. This time, as the first installment of Alpha Music’s 55th anniversary project—which has produced Yumi Arai and Yellow Magic Orchestra and continues to lead the city pop boom—Sincere becomes the first official member and the group is rebooted under the name “RYUSENKEI.” The original album Illusion, including the previously released track “Super Generation,” is also slated to be issued on vinyl in July.
