Kimyou Reitaro, whose vocal prowess directly expresses a wide range of genres and has established his own unique worldview, performs on stage in a special eight-person band setup that includes a horn section. He remains active as a solo artist in many fields, including appearances at numerous domestic festivals such as 【FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL】 and 【RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL】, and plays more than 200 live shows a year. In addition to serving as a vocalist on numerous commercials, his activities also include hosting photography exhibitions. In 2023, marking the 25th anniversary of his musical activity, he released a commemorative album '奇妙礼太郎'. He teamed up with his longtime ally Sunday Kamide, who has also performed with the Genius Band, and for the first time he contributed as the lyricist and composer for all the songs himself, continuing to evolve day by day. His first solo show at the Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall, held in September, sold out. In 2024, as TENSAIBAND BEYOND, he will embark on a tour for the first time in five years, with all shows sold out. From April, he has been touring across all 47 prefectures performing solo acoustic sets. His one-of-a-kind voice that pierces listeners’ hearts and the premium band arrangement in an intimate space make his live performances a must-see.
