Kyoko, a pioneering female rocker who has remained at the forefront of Japan’s rock scene, will once again tour the Tokyo–Osaka Billboard Live venues this year. After the BARBEE BOYS disbanded in 1992, she debuted as a solo artist with the single “DISTANCIA ~ This Heart’s Promise ~.” Since then, alongside the BARBEE BOYS’ reformation and projects such as Fukumimi, she has pursued a wide-ranging career as a solo artist, and in 2022 she celebrated the 30th anniversary of her solo debut. This year marks the fifth consecutive year of her headlining performances at Billboard Live.
