The Yoshida Brothers, Tsugaru shamisen artists who connect Japan’s tradition to the future, are making their Billboard Live debut to celebrate their 25th anniversary since debut. By blending the traditional Tsugaru shamisen timbre with a wide range of genres—rock, electronica, jazz, and more—they have continued to show a presence beyond the boundaries of traditional Japanese music, starting with the theater music “NARUTO-ナルト-展メインテーマ” at the Naruto exhibition commemorating its completion, and continuing with the opening theme for the TV anime GIBIATE, co-created with guitarist SUGIZO. This stage will be colored by DJ DAISHI DANCE, who produced “Renovation.” and “Hyakka Ryōran DAISHI DANCE REMIX.” Don’t miss the chemistry that happens when dance music and house’s four-on-the-floor beats meet Japanese traditional music.

Billboard Live will host the Yoshida Brothers’ first concert of the new year! This year marks their 25th anniversary, and after completing a live acoustic tour across all 47 prefectures, they will deliver an even more expressive and powerful performance at Billboard Live.
