Celebrating its 30th anniversary, BRAHMAN’s full lineup—TOSHI-LOW (Vo, A.Gt), KOHKI (A.Gt), MAKOTO (Cb), RONZI (Dr)—joined by violinist and frontman MARTIN (Vo, Violin, A.Gt) and percussionist KAKUEI (Perc) to form the six-member acoustic band OAU. OAU captivates many audiences with an organic musicality that artfully weaves in traditional and roots music, combining delicacy with dynamism in their performances. In addition to live performances at one of Japan’s largest festivals and overseas tours, since 2010 they have been the organizers of the camping festival New Acoustic Camp. More recently they have begun stepping onto new stages by handling theme songs for TV dramas and films. In April 2023, as OAU they released their second full-length album, "Tradition." The New Year performances by OAU at Billboard Live have become a tradition. I want to fully experience their evolving, grand, one-of-a-kind organic sound in an intimate club setting.
