Overview
The disco and funk duo Tuxedo, formed by Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One, is coming to Billboard Live to celebrate the New Year. Comprised of popular retro-modern soul singer Mayer Hawthorne and producer Jake One, who in recent years has worked on tracks for The Weeknd and Future, they have grown into a leading act on the West Coast scene. In 2019 they released their third album, Tuxedo III, featuring guest appearances by Dâm-Funk, MF DOOM, Benny Sings, which sparked a great deal of buzz among music fans. The night, in which their reverence for funk, disco, and 80s music is expressed through a happy, danceable live performance, promises to be an exhilarating, uplifting moment perfect for starting the new year.
