To commemorate Nano Universe’s 25th anniversary, in collaboration with Billboard Live, we are hosting a special event, “music from NANO universe.” The third installment features Young Skinny, a Tokyo-born four-piece guitar rock band making their first appearance at Billboard Live! With an average age of 22, the band is led by vocalist Kaya-yu and was formed by recruiting members via social media. Their releases, “Even If the World Hates Me” and “Actually, You Know,” drew attention mainly on social media, and in 2023 they made their major debut with the digital single “Rashiku.” With down-to-earth lyrics that depict the real feelings of young people, they have earned tremendous support from many quarters.
