Curly Giraffe, who has been active in the band scene since his student days and, after dedicating himself to music, has gone on to major debuts with several bands, has shown a wide range of talents through tour support, production, and bass playing for renowned artists such as Motoharu Sano, LOVE PSYCHEDELICO, and Aimyon. Last year he released two new songs—the first new material in five years—and with 2025 marking the 20th anniversary of his debut, attention is turning to his activities. He will appear with GREAT3 in a star-studded lineup led by longtime friend Kenichi Shirane (Dr), along with frequent collaborator Hirohisa Horie (Key) and Yukio Nagoshi (Gt)—the same group that has often collaborated since the 2021 Billboard Live show.
