SALT&SUGAR was formed by Tetsu Shioya, who after serving as the pianist for Orquesta de la Luz has continued with a wide range of activities including AGA-SHIO and Dandyism Banquet, and Takeshi Satō, who remains active as a top vocalist with broad musicality and solid vocal prowess. The music born from the intersection of Shioya’s jazz-and-classical-based piano and Satō’s bold approach grounded in rock and pop is truly one of a kind.
