Asia, the British-born progressive rock legend, has confirmed that Billboard Live will host the latest tour, “ASIA Heat of the Moment Tour,” conducted under the direction of original member Geoff Downes. Formed by musicians who had already established themselves with Yes and King Crimson, the supergroup drew huge attention, and their self-titled debut album became the best-selling album of 1982, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard chart for nine consecutive weeks. They continued to blaze on the scene, but original member John Wetton passed away in 2017. In the summer of 2023, a memorial concert held to celebrate his life became the catalyst for restarting as a reformed Asia, welcoming Virgil Donati on drums, John Mitchell on guitar, and Harry Whitley on vocals and bass. This tour will feature fan-favorite classic acts in the setlist, along with new experiments. Don’t miss this dizzying, electrifying stage show.
