Overview
This year marks the 52nd year since his debut, and singer-songwriter Morio Agata’s first solo Billboard Live concert has been announced. He debuted on April 25, 1972 with the first release on Bellwood Records, a sub-label of King Records, with “Red Elegy.” Influenced by American folk and rock, he expresses a worldview reminiscent of the romantic popular culture of the Taisho–Showa era, and continues to captivate many fans to this day. In 2022 he released the best-of album “Bob Dylan and Genmai,” celebrated his 50th anniversary with the 50th Anniversary Music Concert at Shibuya Kokaido, and in October 2024 he released his 52nd album, “Orion no Mori” (Orion’s Forest), continuing a vigorous career spanning more than half a century. This concert will feature as a guest Keiichi Suzuki, a longtime friend and ally, a member of Hachimitsu-Pai and currently active with Moonriders. Don’t miss this rare one-night-only performance.
