Helsinki Lambda Club, an alternative rock band that crosses the boundaries of musical genres and cultures with addictive melodies, playful lyrics, and experimental sounds, makes its Billboard Live debut. Formed in the summer of 2013 around Kaoru Hashimoto (Vo/Gt), they debuted in December 2014 on the long-running Shimokitazawa label UK.PROJECT. They have toured not only across Japan but also Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, and Taiwan. In 2022, they made their first appearance at Fuji Rock Festival, a dream they had cherished since formation. And in 2024, in their 11th year, they have been freely expanding their reach across borders, including SXSW in Austin, Texas, and their first UK tour. Rooted in the rock ’n’ roll revival of the 90s and 00s, they have shown a wide range of expression with each album, and we look forward to hearing the meticulous ensemble they craft in intimate club spaces.
