Since debuting in 1970 as Koido, rock guitarist Reiichi “CHABO” Nakaido has continued to be active across a variety of fields—including RC Sucussion, Reiran, The Day, and his solo projects—and this year marks his 55th anniversary. Led by him, the CHABO BAND will make its Billboard Live debut. The lineup covers from rock to jazz with bassist Takaharu Hayakawa, who is also a member of Reiran, and top drummer Tomoyasu Kawamura, known as “Kaasuke,” who helps drive Japan’s music scene. Be sure to enjoy their groove- and soul-filled rock ’n’ roll show up close. The October 9 Osaka performance will also celebrate Reiichi Nakaido’s 75th birthday.
