This year, Flying KIDS, one of Japan’s leading funk bands celebrating 35 years since their major debut, will perform at Billboard Live Tokyo. They’ll bring a groove-heavy show behind their latest album Tail of Hope, released in June. Furthermore, following vocalist Takashi Hamazaki, who turned 60 in June, guitarist Hidehiko Kato—known as “Mr. K”—will also reach his 60th birthday in November. At this timing, a commemorative anniversary special stage will be realized. It’s poised to be a premium night, hot and funky.
