Shigeru Suzuki
"'BAND WAGON' 50th Anniversary Commemorative Live for the Release — Autumn Season —"
Overview
Guitarist Shigeru Suzuki, a name etched in the history of Japanese rock, will perform at Billboard Live in Tokyo and Osaka. Not only was he a key figure in the legendary Happy End and in Tin Pan Alley, formed with Haruomi Hosono, Tatsuo Hayashi, and Masataka Matsutoya, but he has also released numerous works as a solo artist, continuing to lead Japanese rock history for more than half a century. This time, a premium performance commemorates the 50th anniversary of his first solo album, BAND WAGON, released in 1975. Produced in Los Angeles, the album was recorded with guests including members of Little Feat, Sly & the Family Stone, Santana, and Tower of Power, and is still talked about today as a classic. Don’t miss this fan-favorite stage delivering timeless, evergreen songs with a rock-solid lineup.
