Steve Lukather, Michael Landau, Keith Carlock, Jeff Babko, Tim Lefebvre

Overview

World-renowned musicians Steve Lukather, Michael Landau, Keith Carlock, Jeff Babko, and Tim Lefebvre will gather at Billboard Live for a special, limited-performance event! This show will have no video recording or audio recording in any form, and the experience is available only to the audience present at the venue.

The five have contributed to more than ten thousand albums over the past half-century, with hundreds of millions of copies sold. These musicians who have helped shape the history of music will deliver a one-night miracle.

<Boone’s Farm> is a project by Lukather and Landau. The two lifelong friends since the age of 12 reunite after decades to team up with the world’s top collaborators, created solely to “enjoy the sound.”

Lukather has left his mark on countless classic albums, including Toto and Ringo Starr; Landau has collaborated on historic performances with Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, and Pink Floyd. On drums is Keith Carlock, renowned for his work with Steely Dan, Sting, and John Mayer. Jeff Babko, a prominent Los Angeles-based session keyboardist and longtime friend of the two, joins. Tim Lefebvre, who contributed to David Bowie’s final work ★ (Blackstar), joins.

This is the first time the five have performed together, but their musical intersections are countless. Landau and Babko are members of the Steve Gadd Band, and Lefebvre and Carlock participated in Toto “TOTO XIV ~ The Bond of the Sacred Sword.” The connections formed over long careers repeatedly tying them together finally take shape on this night.

From solo work to sessions, tours, and production—these five have shone in every corner of the music world, and their gathering will be a stage that demonstrates the pinnacle of musical artistry. This miraculous Japan-exclusive concert is held only at Billboard Live in Japan. Don’t miss the moment of miracle that music fans around the world will envy.
