MONKEY MAJIK is a four-piece hybrid rock band from Miyagi Prefecture, consisting of frontman and Canadian-born brothers Maynard (vocals & guitar) and Blaze (vocals & guitar), with Japanese rhythm section Taks (drums) and Dick (bass). Following their December Christmas performance at Billboard Live Osaka, they will now appear on the Billboard Live Tokyo stage with a “Happy Valentine” mood. In 2006, “Around The World” became a big hit as the theme song for the drama Journey to the West, and “Sora wa Maru de” has also been widely cherished as a commercial song, making them beloved across generations. 2025 marks the band's 25th anniversary, with anniversary concerts, festival appearances, and the digital release of “The Boyz,” so there’s plenty to look forward to.
