One-night-only Tokyo performance by the Temple University Jazz Band, led by Terell Stafford, featuring the legendary trumpeter Randy Brecker, who led them to the top at the 2026 National College Jazz Championship!

The Temple University Jazz Band, led by Terell Stafford, is active mainly in Philadelphia and New York, with international tours across the United States and to Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, and beyond. They won the inaugural Jack Rudin Jazz Competition at Jazz at Lincoln Center, and since then have consistently finished in the top two each year, boasting one of the nation’s premier ensembles. To date, they have performed with many of the jazz world’s leading artists, including Freddie Cole, Jon Faddis, Benny Golson, Jimmy Heath, Clark Terry, Frank Wess, Joe Wilder, and the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra.
