Singer-songwriter Kaho Nakamura, whose free musicality and expressiveness are not bound by genre, continues to captivate many listeners as she launches her first Billboard Live Tour. With a voice that blends delicacy and strength, unpredictable arrangements, and a dialogue with the audience, she weaves music that can only be born in the moment. On the Tokyo performance, Day 1 will be a duo lineup with Jun Miyagawa (Pf); Day 2 is planned as the tour’s only solo performance. Each ensemble reveals a different expression, expanding a sound world unique to her—please experience it up close.

〈Kaho Nakamura Comment〉
Hello, I’m Kaho Nakamura.
This time, after a long time I pulled out the title 「Uta no Genzaichi」 and will be doing a Billboard Live Tour.
This time the theme is 「Facing Each Other with Sound」.
We face each other with our bodies, listen to the sounds that emerge, sense the other’s repertoire and timing, and respond before thinking through all the aspects.
This musical back-and-forth is truly fun and interesting!

To line up such a partner, I reached out to my friend Jun Miyagawa, who’s in high demand all across Japan.
For the Tokyo performances, Oct 11 (Sun), it will be a duo with two grand pianos. Oct 12 (Mon) will be a piano solo.
For the Osaka performance, Oct 14 (Wed), there will be a Hammond organ (Jun’s true forte as an organist—so exciting).
And the final Yokohama show on Oct 21 (Wed) will be a live band set with friends I think are the coolest recently.
As a result, we decided to tour with a richly colorful program at each stop so that we can show it all.

When you face the music, you often find that the most honest notes are the most interesting, so I’m looking forward to discovering how many notes I can be honest with on this journey.
I’m grateful to Billboard Live for agreeing to this project and giving it a thumbs-up!

The last piece is always you, the audience who come to see us.
Please feel free to come. We’ll be waiting with music as well ✌
