Okada Takuro, a singer-songwriter/guitarist/producer who is expanding his activities in many directions, makes his Billboard Live debut. In 2012, he formed the band Mori wa Ikiteiru (The Forest Is Alive). They released Mori wa Ikiteiru and Good Night. In October 2017, under his solo name Okada Takuro, he released Nostalgia and issued the four-track The Beach EP, which includes a cover of “By The Pool.” As a guitarist, he has participated in live performances and recordings with a variety of musicians, including Roth BART BARON, Yuuka, Satoko Shibata, Yuko Ando, and James Blackshaw. He has also broadened his activities as a producer/mixing engineer and as a soundtrack composer. His third album Betsu No Jikan, released in August 2022, was named the No. 1 album of the year by Music Magazine, drawing attention.
