FLYING KIDS, the Japanese funk band, are set to perform at Billboard Live to mark the approaching 35th anniversary of their major debut. After serving as the show's first Grand King on TBS's popular TV program “Heisei Meibutsu TV: Yuji Miyake's Ikasu Band Tengoku,” they made their major debut in 1990 with “Shiawase de Aru you ni.” Since then they've ridden a string of smash hits while blazing through the scene. They once disbanded but re-formed in 2007. Now a nine-member powerhouse, they are pioneers of Japanese funk, and their momentum has accelerated through live performances and festival appearances.
