An upcoming Billboard Live performance in the “orchestral form” by legendary singer-songwriter and guitarist Ohzora Kimishima has been announced. It will be a special stage created in collaboration with Aoi Mizuno, a musician who is opening up new possibilities in classical music. Ohzora Kimishima, who has worked on songs and live performances for a wide range of artists, began his solo career in earnest in 2019; to date, he has performed in solo, ensemble, and trio formats, and in January 2026 he will stage his largest-scale concert to date in an ensemble configuration at Tokyo Garden Theater. Meanwhile, Mizuno, who debuted in 2018 on the venerable Deutsche Grammophon label, has drawn considerable attention by releasing energetically and by taking part in orchestra tours led by Tarō Hakase and Tetsuya Komuro. In 2025, the Mizuno-led symphonic band ensemble, which thrilled the venue during a collaboration with Yudai Ohno (from Da-iCE), will add color. Free from being bound by existing musical systems, the two artists’ sensibilities have continued to resonate, creating a beautiful yet striking musical experience—don’t miss witnessing it.
