Overview

ZARD, a music unit centered around Izumi Sakai. ZARD’s timeless classics, loved by many as “eternal standard numbers,” are revived at Billboard Live this year through Izumi Sakai’s voice, visuals, and live-band performances. After two audience-free performances, this show—following last year’s long-awaited in-person performance—offers a one-of-a-kind stage where the songs gain new expressions through a venue, lineup, and arrangements that differ from a typical band live. We deliver the numerous masterpieces that have been unleashed into the world with the warmth unique to acoustic music. This year marks the major milestone of their debut 35th anniversary. We hope you will take the time to thoroughly enjoy the voice and melodies that have continued to accompany fans across eras and generations.
