Guitarist Shigeru Suzuki, a name etched in the history of Japanese rock, will hold a premium concert commemorating the 50th anniversary of his 1976 second album, LAGOON. Not only was he a member of the legendary band Happy End and of Tin Pan Alley, formed with Haruomi Hosono, Ritsuo Hayashi, and Masanori Matsutoya, but he has also performed as Shigeru Suzuki & Hackleback, and, as a solo artist, has released numerous works, continuing to lead Japanese rock history for more than half a century. Recently, Fender released his own signature model, a topic of discussion. Following last year’s highly successful BAND WAGON release commemorative concert here at Billboard Live, this show marks the eagerly awaited second installment of the 50th-anniversary celebration.
