Guitarist Reiichi Nakaido, also known as “Chabo,” who celebrated his 55th debut anniversary last year. Since debuting in 1970 as Furui-do, he has been active in various fields—including RC Succession, Reiran, The Day, and solo projects—and now leads the CHABO BAND, which, following the acclaim it drew last year, appears at Billboard Live again this year. Playing across genres with boundless energy, he is joined by bassist Takaharu Hayakawa, a member of Reiran; top drummer Tomoyasu Kawamura, nicknamed “Kaasuke”; and keyboardist Yuta Saito, who produces and writes songs for a wide range of artists, delivering a groove- and soul-filled rock ’n’ roll show.
