PYRAMID was formed by guitarist Yuji Toriyama, drummer Akira Jinbo, and pianist Hirotaka Izumi, who have been bandmates since high school, and even after Izumi’s passing, the band has continued to perform as a duo of Toriyama and Jinbo.

Centered on the influences drawn from 1970s crossover, funk, and R&B, they have built a one-of-a-kind sound, and they will stage the third installment of their live project "Gracenotes," which began in 2025, at Billboard Live in Tokyo and Osaka.

This time, as a special concert commemorating their new album scheduled for release in September, they will reveal an even more evolved PYRAMID sound.

Joining the stage to color the performance will be keyboardist and vocoderist Gaku Kano, whose presence has become indispensable to the PYRAMID sound, and gospel singer TiA, whose powerful voice captivates.
