A premium adult-oriented live performance featuring Kanji Ishimaru, the top actor in the musical world, and virtuoso guitarist Jiro Yoshida has been confirmed.

Kanji Ishimaru is now active not only as a musical theater actor but also as a host of music programs and as a singer. Having met on the 2013 album "Love Songs" and performed together on various occasions, he has teamed up with world-renowned guitarist and music producer Jiro Yoshida. In a minimal voice-and-guitar format, to commemorate the release of the duo album "Something's Coming," which features not only musical-theater standards but numerous timeless songs passed down across eras and borders, a live tour has been announced.

Kanji Ishimaru will sing freely, stepping away from his usual vocal style, with a sweet, whisper-like velvet voice, while Jiro Yoshida's guitar playing—delicate yet boundless—forms an exquisite harmony that opens up a warm, mature world.

Thirty years since his debut with the Shiki Theatre Company, and eleven years as a freelancer. Please enjoy Kanji Ishimaru's music that hints at both the present and what lies ahead.
