Yo Hitoto, who has captured people’s hearts with her healing, soothing voice in debut songs such as "Morai-naki" and "Hanamizuki," hails from roots in Japan and Taiwan. She debuted in 2002, and the following year won numerous newcomer awards. She even made her first appearance on the Red and White Song Battle (Kohaku Uta Gassen), quickly establishing her popularity as a staple. Since then she has continued to release hit songs, and in 2008 held her first Nippon Budokan concert. She has broadened her activities beyond singing, engaging in acting and publishing a poetry collection. In 2020 she continued a busy schedule, including completing a nationwide tour that had stretched for about two years since the previous year, providing lyrics for Sakurako Ohara, and the release of a film in which she appeared. This eight-year-late appearance will see her on stage with a powerhouse lineup of skilled band members. In an intimate club setting, she will showcase a groove that’s a bit different from her usual, making it a premium night of groovy charm.
