Since her debut in 1989 with the album "TREASURE" and the single "Seishun no Arubamu" (青春のアルバム), Ai Hiramatsu has brought into the world a string of timeless songs that continue to be loved across generations, including the million-seller single "Heya to Y Shirt to Watashi" (部屋とYシャツと私) (1992). She will hold a commemorative concert at Billboard Live to celebrate her 32nd debut anniversary and her own birthday. Renowned for drawing empathy from everyday psychological depictions and for melodies so beautiful that everyone hums along, she captivates listeners. In 2019, she marked 30 years since her Heisei-era debut, and in the first year of Reiwa she wrote the single "Heya to Y Shirt to Watashi ~Are Kara~," a sequel to the Heisei-era megahit "Heya to Y Shirt to Watashi," which drew attention. And in 2020, after 25 years of continuing the disaster-relief effort "1.17 KOBE MEETING" for the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, she concluded that project and, since 1999, has continued vigorous activities beyond music, receiving a certificate of appreciation from Kobe City and the Ashinaga Foundation for her long-standing contributions. The anniversary stage, presented in the season when spring is about to arrive, is not to be missed.
