During elementary school, Makiko Ono (vocals, keyboard) and Izumi Kojima (vocals, keyboard), who were contemporaries in a children's choir, formed the female duo Hana*Hana and made their Billboard Live stage debut. In July 2000, they made their major debut with Warner Music Japan with “Aa, Yokatta - setagaya mix -,” and since then have released numerous hits, including “Sayonara Daisuki na Hito.” They remain active in a wide range of activities, including of course song production, energetic live performances nationwide, and stage music production. Their stage, built on a style in which the two write songs, play piano, and sing, combines original songs that weave everyday life and resonate with a broad audience with covers of Western and Japanese songs—please enjoy their performance.
