Shishido Kavka, who has released a variety of sounds to the world since her debut in a drum-vocal style and continues to showcase a wide range of talents—from modeling to acting—makes her first appearance as conductor in the project “el tempo” (El Tempo), directing the band’s improvised performances using more than 100 hand signals. Argentine percussionist and producer Santiago Vazquez devised the hand signs used in the performances, and Kavka learned them on site; she will express rhythm together with top-tier artists.
