KREVA, who is active not only as a hip-hop artist but also as a producer, musician, and actor, will embark on a Billboard Live Tour, including a birthday show in Yokohama on June 18. Since his debut, he has released numerous hit songs, and his 2006 second album Ai・Jibun-haku (Love and Self-Discovery) became the first weekly-chart No.1 ever for a hip-hop solo artist. On the other hand, in live performances he has achieved legendary feats such as the one-man Budokan performance “KREVA～Completely Solo Budokan” (2007), the nationwide 47-prefecture tour, and MTV Unplugged, becoming the first Asian hip-hop artist to appear. Through his activities he has continually set new “first” titles for hip-hop solo artists. More recently, he has appeared in films such as Shin Godzilla and Attack on Titan, and drew attention with consecutive single releases in 2020, “Tanpopo” and “Fall in Love Again.” Additionally, on Billboard Live stages he delivered standout performances, including his first Tokyo appearance in 2016 and an outstanding performance on the no-audience streaming stage in 2020. Now, after about a year and a half, he returns with a live show in front of an audience—what kind of performance will he deliver? A performance on the Billboard Live stage, where its space can bring out rich emotional moments, is a stage to watch with eager attention.
