miwa, a female singer-songwriter who has defined an era, makes her Billboard Live debut. When she was 15, inspired by female singer-songwriters such as Sheryl Crow and Carole King, she began writing original songs. In 2010, in March of her first year at university, she debuted with the single “don’t cry anymore,” and drew attention with her debut album “guitarissimo,” released the following year; since then, she has continued to captivate a wide range of listeners with energetic activity. This year, she released theme songs for two films, “神無-KANNA-” and “アイヲトウ.” In a premium space, she delivers a poised, soaring vocal performance and a direct, heartfelt message.
