Yanagiya Mutsu & THE RATBONES is a project by Yanagiya Mutsu of the band BATTLE OF NINJAMANZ, which helped root psychobilly in Japan. They—resonating alt-folk and kayōkyoku-pop music—are growing at meteoric speed, and carrying their new release “OLD BOYS SPECIAL,” they’ll return to Billboard Live Yokohama this summer as well. The 1st Stage will feature only a band setup, delivering a selection of songs mixing old and new. The world of roots music and the joys and sorrows of life will be conveyed in a hard-edged, sometimes humorous manner! The 2nd Stage is a crowd-pleasing revue show featuring dancers and performers! Along with familiar songs, Billboard Live Yokohama will also enchant with a production reminiscent of the Showa-era Shinjuku Koma Theater. Furthermore, guest appearances are set: 1st Stage — Kankurō Miyafuji, 2nd Stage — CHIBOW(SKA-9)! Don’t miss their unique “My Way” world.
