Yo Hitoto, whose soothing voice has captured people’s hearts with debut songs such as “Moraikinaki” and “Hanamizuki,” hails from roots in Japan and Taiwan. She debuted in 2002. The following year she won numerous newcomer awards. She also made her first appearance on NHK’s Kohaku Uta Gassen, quickly solidifying her popularity. Since then, she has continued to release hit songs, and in 2008 she held her first Nippon Budokan concert. She has broadened her activities beyond singing, for example by pursuing acting and publishing a poetry collection. In 2020 she continued to stay active with a nationwide tour for the first time in about two years, plus providing lyrics for Sakurako Ohara and the release of a film in which she appeared. This eight-year return to the stage will see her perform with a powerhouse lineup of highly skilled band members. In an intimate club setting, she will showcase a groove-filled charm that differs from her usual performances, making it a premium night.
