Lecca began her career as a singer in 2000. After graduating from university, in 2002 she spent six months overseas on what she called a musha shugyo—gaining on-site experience as an artist and developing a robust live-performance sensibility. Rooted in dancehall and hip-hop, she also possesses a striking, high-impact pop appeal as a reggae DJ goddess, and she takes the stage in Yokohama and Osaka for the first time in three years. As she approaches the 20th anniversary of her major debut in 2026, she released last year the album LIBERTY ERA, about seven years after her previous release, and completed a Zepp tour, continuing her vigorous activity to this day. Her breathtaking performance, delivered in a style that transcends genres, is not to be missed.
