In November 2024, Sakurako Ohara, who will celebrate her 10th anniversary as a singer, will launch her third Billboard Live Tour themed around “Not just I,” spanning Tokyo, Yokohama, and Osaka.

In 2013, she was selected from among 5,000 entrants in the national heroine audition for the film Kanojo wa Uso o Aishisugiteru, and made her screen and CD debut simultaneously.

In 2014, as an actress she received the Newcomer Award at the Japan Film Critics Awards, and as a singer she won the Best New Artist Award at the 56th Japan Record Award.

In 2015, with the cheer song “Hitomi” for the 93rd National High School Soccer Championship, she appeared on the 66th NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen.

Since then, alongside her singing career, she has appeared in numerous dramas and stage productions, and in 2023 she received the 30th Yomiuri Theater Award — Sugimura Haruko Prize.

This is a special moment where the feelings overflowing in an intimate space blend with a confident, resonant singing voice, different from a glamorous stage.
