Formed in 2019, the Tokyo-based band chilldspot — whose members were all born in 2002 and started their activities while still in high school — has drawn attention for their genre-defying sound, freely traversing R&B, soul, rock, and pop, and for their vocalist's distinctive voice, as they make their first appearance at Billboard Live.

In addition to appearing at major domestic festivals and performing overseas, they continue to broaden the scope of their activities; in May 2026 they released their first Digital REMIX EP, 'prank call - remix #001'. It sparked buzz as an ambitious work in which five of their own songs, including the lead track 'Turn Off the Neon', were self-remixed by the members themselves. Furthermore, in June of the same year they released 'Ladyy', an insert song for a romance reality show, and in July a new song 'Dorama' that serves as the theme song for the TV drama 'Sayonara Noir'.
