The Katsushika Trio, consisting of Tetsuo Sakurai, Akira Jimbo, and Minoru Mukaiya, who stand at the forefront of Japan's fusion scene, are launching a spring Billboard Live tour. Formed in 2021, prompted by two of them guesting on Akira Jimbo's One-Man Orchestra at Katsushika Symphony Hills. In addition to releasing a steady stream of works, they have energetically been active on the live scene, and in 2026 they carried out their first overseas performances in Taipei and Seoul. Also, they released an album 'SO-DAYONE !' that returns to the roots of classic J-Fusion, which has been drawing renewed attention from overseas listeners in recent years, and its buzz is growing both domestically and internationally.
