The eternal guitar hero Mitsuyoshi Azuma leads Japan’s only Jump-Jive band as they take the Billboard Live stage!

In autumn 1979, Mitsuyoshi Azuma, then a fifth-year student at a certain university, formed the band as a “graduation gift.” It was supposed to disband as soon as he graduated, but the fun was so infectious that they reformed nine months later. Since then, they’ve rode through Showa and Heisei at a relaxed pace, entering the Reiwa era in 2019. To mark their 40th anniversary, they released their eighth album to date. And this year, on November 3, they released a 7-inch vinyl as well, continuing to stay active even past turning sixty.

You can’t help but dance to their incredibly upbeat sound.
