With the concept 'Music is Entertainment!', the 18-member Latin Jazz big band Tropical Jazz Orchestra, a group of exceptionally talented musicians with vibrant personalities, took the stage at Billboard Live in the spring. Since forming in 1995 around Carlos Kanno, they have captivated audiences both in Japan and overseas with their fiery sound and funky performances. In 2020 they celebrated their 25th anniversary and have continued to actively pursue a vigorous schedule, including the release of 'Tropical Jazz Orchestra XVIII – 25th Anniversary –'. Not only their jewel-like original compositions, but nostalgic classics rendered in Latin arrangements, can be enjoyed with a tightly synchronized, blazing Latin groove.
