From his debut in 1975 for more than twenty-odd years, he enjoyed immense popularity as the lead vocalist of the blues band 憂歌団, and this year marks the 30th anniversary of his solo debut, as well as his 70th birthday. With his “angelic husky voice,” and Kansai’s proud venerable big band, the Arrow Jazz Orchestra, delivering a luxurious collaboration show, he makes a comeback to Billboard Live Osaka for the first time in about three years.
