Overview

It’s been 24 years since Moto Chitose’s dazzling debut in “Wadatsumi no Ki.” Now entering her 25th year since her major debut, she will launch a Billboard Live Tour in Tokyo and Osaka. This April, ahead of that, she marked 25 years since her indie debut, so this concert will mainly feature two mini-albums released during her indie era. Born on Amami Ōshima in Kagoshima Prefecture, she grew up with the Amami traditional folk song “shima-uta,” and her mystical voice continues to captivate listeners. With time and experience, Moto Chitose’s current singing voice has gained a mellow radiance—please sit back and thoroughly enjoy it.
