As a songwriter, arranger, producer, and DJ, the musician Yasuharu Konishi—who maintains his own distinctive aesthetic—will appear at Billboard Live. He debuted in 1985 as a member of Pizzicato Five and has been a leading figure in the 1990s movement known as “Shibuya-kei.” Even after the group disbanded, he has continued to stay active, and in 2011 launched his solo project “PIZZICATO ONE,” releasing three albums to date. In 2022, he accepted an invitation to perform a guitar-and-vocal live set, which awakened him to the idea of singing his own past compositions; in recent years he has taken the stage with various ensembles. This time he comes on stage with his latest work, 『失恋と得恋』 ("Heartbreak and the Love Gained"). Focusing on the Pizzicato Five era repertoire, he will present it with new arrangements.
