Formed by guitarist Yūji Toriyama, drummer Akira Jinbo, and pianist Hirotaka Izumi—the band PYRAMID—who have been bandmates since high school, and who have continued to perform as a duo after Izumi's passing. Grounded in the influences of 1970s crossover, funk, and R&B, they have built a one-of-a-kind sound, and will present the third installment of the live project "Gracenotes" at Billboard Live Tokyo and Billboard Live Osaka starting in 2025. This time, as a special concert commemorating the release of their new album scheduled for September, they will unveil an even more evolved PYRAMID sound. On stage to complement their performance will be Gaku Kano, the keyboardist and vocoder whose presence has become indispensable to the PYRAMID sound, and gospel singer TiA, whose powerful voice captivates.
