Overview
Cheryl Lynn, the diva of the dance classic “Got to Be Real,” returns to Billboard Live for her first appearance in four years. Her 1978 debut single “Got to Be Real” topped the Billboard R&B chart. She quickly rose to stardom, and since then has released numerous singles and albums that have charted successively. Even today, as golden dance classics are celebrated, her powerful, uninhibited vocal performance will explode on an exquisite disco night that Black-music fans won’t want to miss.
In addition, the opening DJ and Happy Hour have been scheduled! On August 15, DJ OSSHY will groove the floor right before showtime.
