Overview
Diva Cheryl Lynn, the star of the dance classic "Got to Be Real," makes her return to Billboard Live for the first time in four years. Her 1978 debut single "Got to Be Real" topped the Billboard R&B chart. She shot to stardom overnight, and since then has continued to release singles and albums that have graced the charts. Even today, those songs are remembered as golden dance classics, and Black-music fans should not miss Cheryl's powerful, free-spirited vocal exploding in an exquisite disco night.
