Maxi Priest
Maxi Priest
Overview
Maxi Priest, loved across genres—from reggae and lovers rock to R&B—takes the stage. Raised in a British‑Jamaican immigrant family, Maxi grew up listening to a wide range of vocalists—from Dennis Brown to Frank Sinatra. After his album debut in 1985, his cover of Cat Stevens’ 'Wild World' became a worldwide hit. Here in Japan, his voice has long been familiar thanks to the 1997 hit 'Love Somebody.' This September, with Shaggy as producer, he released the album It All Comes Back To Love, featuring a star-studded lineup of guest artists. Please enjoy to the fullest the universal voice of a pop‑reggae pioneer, transcending genres, and a repertoire of refined classics.
